At Parkinsons we understand the demands of today’s diesel fuel injection systems.
Diesel engines have changed the make-up of the modern vehicle parc in the UK, with nearly 50% of new registrations being diesel powered. Recent years have seen significant technological advancement (in particular Common Rail) driven by the need for greater fuel efficiency, lower emissions, and quieter and better performance.
These needs and expectations apply equally to the private motorist, truck operators, agricultural, bus, coach and rail companies, and all other users of diesel engines such as marine, stationary and mobile applications.
Parkinsons works closely with the market leaders in Diesel Technology in order to maintain Original Equipment (O.E.) standards in repair and remanufacturing for the aftermarket using the same O.E. parts and components in our remanufacturing process. Test, calibration, and parts are derived from the O.E. sources coupled with ISO9001 quality accreditation.
Centres of Excellence
At Parkinsons we recognise that continual investment in equipment and training to meet the demands of our customers is vital.
We have two “Centres of Excellence” – Lincoln (Bosch Diesel Centre) and Boston (Delphi Common Rail Centre) respectively equipped with the latest Bosch and Hartridge test equipment. We offer an all-makes service on high speed diesel systems including Bosch, Delphi, Siemens, Denso and Stanadyne.
Diesel diagnostic work is carried out at all our service locations using the latest Bosch and Delphi equipment with fully trained staff who can repair most faults short of an engine replacement. Our service facilities at Newark, Peterborough and Grimsby work closely with our Centres of Excellence and offer conventional and electronic fuel system repairs on various Hartridge type benches.
